Ruruworld.com or Ruruworld, as used herein refers to either this site or to Globalink Group Pte. Ltd., the owner and operator of the Site. These Terms and Conditions of Use (the “TCU”) apply to the Ruruworld web site with uniform resource locator designated as www.ruruworld.com, and all associated sites to the same operated by Ruruworld, its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively referred to as the “Site”).
To ensure a legal, safe, non-offensive environment for all of our users, guests and visitors, Ruruworld has established the following TCU.
By accessing Ruruworld, you agree to be legally bound and to abide by the terms and conditions contained herein. Please read carefully before using the Site. If you do not agree with the TCU, please immediately discontinue your use of the Site.
Ruruworld reserves the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of the TCU at any time. Please check the site regularly for changes. Your continued use of Ruruworld following the posting of changes to the TCU shall mean your acceptance of those changes.

1. Site Access Restrictions
Ruruworld grants you a limited license to access and make personal use of the Site. You cannot download or modify any and all copyrighted material featured therein, or any portion of the same, unless it is done with the express written consent of Ruruworld and its copyright-partners, if any. This license does not include any resale or commercial use of the Site or its contents or any portion thereof; any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices; any derivative use of the Site or its contents; any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another merchant; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools. The Site or any portion of the same may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without express written consent of Ruruworld. You may not frame or utilize framing techniques to enclose any trademark, logo, or other proprietary information (including images, text, page layout, or form) of Ruruworld and our affiliates without express written consent. You may not use any meta tags or any other "hidden text" utilizing the name of Ruruworld or its trademarks without the express written consent of Ruruworld. Any unauthorized use terminates the permission or license granted herein by Ruruworld. You are granted a limited, revocable, and non-exclusive right to create a hyperlink to the home page of Ruruworld provided that the link does not portray Ruruworld, its affiliates, or their products or services in a false, misleading, derogatory, or otherwise offensive matter. You may not use any Ruruworld logo or other proprietary graphic or trademark as part of the link without express written permission.
2. Information Gathering and Privacy Policy
Ruruworld respects your privacy. However, in the course of your use of the Site, Ruruworld may collect information or gather data regarding its users, guests or visitors. Ruruworld has placed industry standard security measures to protect and prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of information or Gathered Data.
"Gathered Data" is defined as any information you provide to Ruruworld and/or the Site. Gathered Data includes, but is not limited to, information that may be sent to Ruruworld or the Site actively or passively by any electronic agent operating on your behalf including, but not limited to, information such as IP addresses, timestamps, and browser and operating system types and versions. You are solely responsible for Gathered Data, and Ruruworld acts as a passive conduit for your online distribution and publication of Gathered Data.
You grant Ruruworld a non-exclusive, irrevocable, transferable, perpetual, and royalty-free: (i) license to the Gathered Data (i.e., use, copy, distribute, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, reproduce, edit, modify, translate and reformat) in any territory and in any media now known or not currently known, and (ii) right to sublicense the Gathered Data, to the fullest extent allowed by law. Ruruworld shall not compensate or pay you for Gathered Data.
In providing Ruruworld with Gathered Data, you explicitly represent that you have all the rights necessary for you to make the grants enumerated in the immediately preceding paragraph and to the other grant of rights in favor of Ruruworld that are contained in this TCU. You also warrant that Gathered Data is: (i) true and accurate as of the date of the submission; (ii) not fraudulent or does not involve the sale of stolen items; (iii) not an infringement of any third party's copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy; (iv) compliant with any and all applicable laws and/or statutes; (v) not offensive as measured by the common decency of a reasonable person; (vi) not obscene and does not contain child pornography; and (vii) free from viruses, Trojan horses, worms and/or other similar computer programming routines that may damage and/or detrimentally affect any system, data, or personal information. Ruruworld reserves the right to remove or edit Gathered Data in the event that it becomes aware that you are in breach of the above warranties.
Gathered Data may be stored and processed in Singapore or any other country in which Ruruworld and/or the Site maintain facilities. As such, you consent to any transfer of Gathered Data outside of your country.
Ruruworld reserves the right to transfer Gathered Data in the event of a transfer of ownership of Ruruworld or the Site, such as acquisition by or merger with another company. In the event that Ruruworld goes through such a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition, liquidation or sale of all or a portion of its assets, Gathered Data will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred.
3. Interaction with Ruruworld
In using the Site, you should expect to actively interact with Ruruworld through your receipt, access, or use of Gathered Data (i.e., in the form of information, materials, graphics, software, data, text, music, sound, photographs, video, messages and other content (collectively, "Hosted Content")) originated by Ruruworld and persons other than Ruruworld.
Ruruworld does not control the Hosted Content posted via the Site, and as such, does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, and/or quality of the same. You understand that by using the Ruruworld, you may be exposed to Hosted Content that is offensive, indecent, or objectionable. Under no circumstances will Ruruworld or any of its subsidiaries, affiliates, as well as their respective owners, directors, officers, employees, licensors, and agents, be liable in any way for any Hosted Content which may contain errors or omissions, or that which may cause any loss or damage to you as a result of the use of the same and/or its being posted, e-mailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the Ruruworld.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
THIS SITE IS PROVIDED BY RURUWORLD ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. RURUWORLD MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE OPERATION OF THIS SITE OR THE INFORMATION, CONTENT, MATERIALS, OR PRODUCTS INCLUDED HEREIN. YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SITE SHALL BE AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY APPLICABLE LAW, RURUWORLD DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. RURUWORLD DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THIS SITE, ITS SERVERS, OR E-MAIL SENT FROM RURUWORLD ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. RURUWORLD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM THE USE OF THIS SITE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL RURUWORLD, ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, AS WELL AS THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, LICENSORS, AND AGENTS, INCLUDING THOSE OF ANY SUCCESSORS, BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR LOSSES (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES) ARISING OUT OF, BASED ON, OR RESULTING FROM THIS AGREEMENT OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE IN ANY WAY, EVEN IF SUCH RURUWORLD, ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, LICENSORS, AND AGENTS, INCLUDING THOSE OF ANY SUCCESSORS, HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THESE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS APPLY WITHOUT REGARD TO WHETHER THE DAMAGES ARISE FROM (i) BREACH OF CONTRACT, (ii) BREACH OF WARRANTY, (iii) NEGLIGENCE, (iv) STRICT LIABILITY, OR (v) ANY OTHER CAUSE OF ACTION, TO THE EXTENT SUCH EXCLUSION AND LIMITATIONS ARE NOT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
THE LIABILITY OF RURUWORLD, ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, LICENSORS, AND AGENTS, INCLUDING THOSE OF ANY SUCCESSORS, TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCE IS LIMITED TO THE LESSER OF (A) THE AMOUNT OF MONEY YOU HAVE PAID TO OPOBOX IN US DOLLARS OR (B) FIVE HUNDRED SINGAPORE DOLLARS(S$500).
5. Termination of TCU or your use of the Site
Without prejudice to the other remedies available to Ruruworld, Ruruworld may terminate the TCU, or terminate or suspend your access to the Site at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon such termination or suspension, your right to use the Site will immediately cease and, in such event, ANY INFORMATION YOU HAVE STORED ON THE SITE MAY NOT BE RETRIEVED LATER.
6. Assignment
You agree not to resell, assign, sublicense, otherwise transfer, or delegate your rights or obligations under the TCU without prior express written authorization of Ruruworld, However, Ruruworld may assign its rights under the TCU, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice to you. Without in any way limiting the prohibition on your resale, assignment, sublicensing, or other transfer of rights or obligations, this Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties hereto and their respective heirs, successors, and assigns.
7. Governing Law & Severability
The provisions of the TCU shall be construed in accordance with Singapore laws and any and all claims or actions in relation to the same shall be brought to the proper courts of Singapore to the exclusion of all other venues and jurisdiction.
The provisions of the TCU are intended to be severable. If for any reason any provision of the TCU shall be held invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part in any jurisdiction, such provision shall, as to such jurisdiction, be ineffective to the extent of such invalidity or unenforceability without in any manner affecting the validity or enforceability thereof in any other jurisdiction or the remaining provisions hereof in any jurisdiction.
